My tsu review after 30 days of active membership..

About a month ago, a friend of mine introduced me to a new social network called tsu. At first I was kind of bored to check it out but after he told me that I will be earning money for doing what I am already doing on other social networks like Facebook and Google+ (sharing, liking and posting content) then it grabbed my attention and I decided to join and  give it a chance.

It has been already a month since I’ve signed up on tsu and this is why I decided to write this tsu review. In this post I am going tell you all about my thoughts around tsu and what to really expect when joining this new social network.

Honestly, this tsu review is not about creating unnecessary hype to convince you to join tsu, rather than to show you my thoughts and what is going on with this new social network.

But before we start this tsu review, let me tell you a couple of things first about tsu..

What is tsu?

Tsu – as I said earlier – is a new social network  based in New York, founded in 2013 by tech entrepreneurs Sebastian Sobczak, Drew Ginsburg, Thibault Boullenger, and Jonathan Lewin.

For those of you who don’t know how to pronounce it yet, it is pronounced ”sue”. Not tsu or t-s-u just sue.

Tsu is an invite only social network meaning that you cannot join if you are not invited by someone else.

So If you want to join, join through me by clicking here.

Tsu differentiates it self by sharing its ad revenue with its members. That means, the more advertisements tsu has, the more money tsu will be sharing with its users.

According to Tsu’s founder, Sebastian Sobczak:

Established social networks have built amazing business models prospering on the total monetization of free user-generated content. Why should anyone commercially benefit from someone else’s image, likeness and work giving no financial return to the owner? The markets we participate in are enormous, growing and can materially compensate each user — we’re simply and uniquely rewarding the users who are doing all the work. This is the way the world should work.Sebastian Sobczak

Here is an interview made by Brandon Williams from Fox Network on tsu’s founder Sebastian Sobczak, a week after tsu was launched.

How tsu pays its members?

At a glance, Tsu seems to work in the same way as any other social network. Page views generate ad revenue, but what sets them apart is that only 10% of that ad revenue is returned to Tsu.

50% of ad revenue is sent to the content owner.

The other 50% is given to the user who brought the content owner into the network. Where as any other network keeps 100% of the profit for themselves!

Here is a screenshot that shows how the revenues break among the members:

What happens NOW inside tsu?

First of all, you should know that tsu’s interface looks a lot like facebook. This made me feel ok because i could navigate and ”play” with it almost instantly. I didn’t have to learn how to use a social network from the beginning.

The only problem with tsu now is this:

There are two kind of people now on tsu.

  • There is the Internet marketer who follows everyone and likes every post he sees and comments to every crap that other Internet marketers are posting and wishing that someone is going to like and share their post to earn money.
  • There are normal people who use tsu just like they were using facebook. They follow accounts that relate to their interests, they post stuff that really believe in , they comment on stuff they really have something to say about and they share content that are excited about – even if they know the earning potential with tsu,

I, on the other hand, am the Internet marketer who understands that if you want to be successful and make a ton of money on tsu, you need to choose a topic, a niche and post awesome content around that niche all the time. Only then you will be able to build a strong following that will share and like your posts like crazy.

So if you join tsu now, you will find a lot of CRAP on your time-lines.

There are people who actually post every God Damn image they find on Google that looks somewhat nice..

I am going to unfollow them.. That’s for sure..

Tsu Popularity

Tsu is a very hot topic now in the Internet space and thousands are joining every day.

For Real..

Just look the screenshot below from Google Keyword Planner that shows the average searches tsu is getting on Google every month. This screenshot was taken on the 1st of Dember 2014.

  • The average monthly searches for 12 months is 110,000 searches per month.
  • The actual searches on October 2014 is  391,774

Do People Really Earn Money With Tsu?

People are earning money on tsu.

That’s for sure..

After one month on tsu I have earned in total…  $0.01

Some of you may laugh with this…

But I am gonna tell you one thing..

 tsu review yes-I-made-a-penny-on-tsu-but-you-make-less-than-a-penny-on-Facebookimg via

Now, probably your face should look like this..

Now seriously…

There are people who earn money on tsu and they post their payment proofs either on youtube or on their websites.

I have found 3 of them to show you.

The first one is a video from a strange-looking guy who recorded the tsu check opening process.

The second one is from this guy who earned over $200 as ti looks in his screenshot.

and the third image is from a woman who I’ve found her screenshot on Google Images.

So as it seems from the video and the screenshots above, people do earn money from tsu. Also as you saw in the screenshot I got my very first penny.. :/ It seems that I have a long way in front of me before I start earning some serious cash.

What are my last thoughts on tsu

To be honest with you I am a bit skeptical..

I mean, is this project going to last? There where a lot of promising social networks that failed in the past..

Take for example Orkut, Myspace and Friendster.. Promising Social Networks that failed miserably..

Is tsu going to make it?

After all, the greatest fear of every internet marketers is if the program they are signing in is going to last.. Imagine if you give everything on tsu, if you spend countless hours promoting, building relations and suddenly one day…

It shuts its doors..

On the other hand, this might be a great deal !

People are searching for it and they love the idea of socializing and getting paid.. What if this becomes even bigger than facebook ? If  I stay and work my ass from the beginning, in 2 years from now I might develop a residual income of over $5000 per year..

I also like the fact that the people behind tsu have values.

They truly believe that content you create and share online should be rewarded and I kinda like this idea.

If you think of it, why to hang out on facebook and not on tsu.

It looks pretty much the same, you can do pretty much the same stuff only this time you have the chance to earn some money as well..

What do you think about tsu?

Are you going to join or not and if yes or not please specify why.. I would really love to hear your thoughts about it..

If you are going to join then you will use someone to invite you. I would be really happy to be the one who does.. Click here if you would like to join tsu.

Thank you for your revue. These social media sites promise you the high heavens but in the end it seldom pans out the way they explained it to you. This piece brings a bit more clarity to the whole situation.
